Service Change Updates

This section will be used to update GPs and Practice Managers about key changes to services in the community. This could be anything from a change in opening hours at a medical centre, through to a change of providers for a sexual health service. Updates will be added to a rolling list, with the most recent update at the top.

Please visit this section at least once a week to ensure you don't miss any crucial changes to service that may affect your patients.

NHS 111 update (19th october 2012)

Firstly, apologies from the NHS 111 project team for the confusion caused around the Out of Hours phone number communications last month. To clarify, there is no change in the Out of Hours number until NHS 111 goes live and this is anticipated to be from sometime in November. However, the ‘go live date’ is reliant on the Department of Health giving the go-ahead. We will, of course, advise you of the date once it is known.
